Sorry! Gotta laugh at your hat selection. Maybe thats the warmest Eskimo hat in yer neck of the woods, but I know of warmer ones available here. Sean, if I may suggest… Take some nylon Ty Tys (like the cops use when they run out of handcuffs) and a roll of that old standby Duct Tape! Useful for mounting the camera…
Good stuff Sean. Thx for the shout-out as well! Keep in mind one thing about those tripods: Over-bending them can sometimes lead to the leg popping off. It can be annoying. Happy New Year Brother!!!
Have you tried Cabella’s or Bass Pro shop? They may have cold gear. Get yourself a ton of wool socks for those boots, I have a similair pair and they don’t let your feet breath so you will be needing to change your socks constantly since your gonna be sweating big time. Be safe man and wear layers!! Can’t wait to see the vids.
also get a tight wool balaclava and ski goggles, that will help in snowstorms. hands and feets is very important to stay warm and thats is not easy to do. go for lots of wool in anything. stay safe.
